Jennifer Paulson is a Family Nurse Practitioner who obtained her Master’s Degree from Concordia University in Wisconsin in 2008. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Institute of Functional Medicine. She has worked in conventional medicine as a primary care provider in various settings including private practice and community health centers. Jennifer has always had a passion for integrative medicine offering complementary therapy options to her patients and after using these approaches on herself and ill family members with drastic improvement in health, she could only continue on with training to help her patients with this same knowledge and care. In 2014 she started her private practice Functional Medicine of Bend. In 2017 Jennifer obtained her Yoga Teacher certification through Radiant Health Yoga© and shares her love of Yoga with her patients. 



All trainings listed below are through the Institute of Functional Medicine, the nations leader in functional medicine training. Jennifer was accepted into the Institute of Functional Medicine's rigorous certification program in 2015 which requires the completion of the week long Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice course and six Advanced Practice Modules within seven years from the time of application. As you can see below, Jennifer will have completed her training and certification in less than three years. This demonstrates her commitment and passion for functional medicine.
